Wedding Requirements.
Only civil marriages are legally recognized in Mexico, although these are often followed up or combined with religious ceremonies. Documents needed to apply for a non-nationals marriage license are: originals and “apostiled” copies of your passports and second photo ID (like a drivers license), your tourist cards from Mexican immigration, and a recent (within the past 14 days) blood test, which is available on the island. The required four witnesses, with approved identification, can be provided by your wedding coordinator if needed.
